Most students learning to code hit a ceiling: syntax practice without a real system to build for. What's missing is a hands-on path into AI and software-systems work that starts with something a real organization actually needs, not another isolated class project.
AutoNateAI's approach is built for students who already have some coding experience and want to go further: designing data models and APIs, directing AI coding agents responsibly, and building a real system in response to a real ask — the same civic-RFP model the free courses teach.
The bar for entry is a free on-ramp: four self-paced digital courses that teach JavaScript fundamentals, prompt and context engineering, and databases. A student, or a parent asking on their behalf, can try the material for free first and see if it's a fit before committing to anything further.
